Radius Windows

The design of radius windows is a unique opportunity to create a rich viewing environment. All of our radius jambs are done in bent lamination for a more finished look.

Frame
  • Radius jambs with bent lamination technique for a cleaner, more custom and finished look
  • 4-9/16″ solid Douglas Fir jamb
    • Other jamb sizes available
  • Solid one piece Redwood sill
  • Sill pans to protect against moisture intrusion
  • Interior and Exterior trim available by request as an upgrade
Sash
  • Sash is a full 1-1/2″ thick, solid VG Douglas Fir
    • additional sash thicknesses available
  • Standard layout: 2” stiles and top rail on face (does not include detail), 3-1/8” bottom rail on face (does not include detail)*
    • custom layouts available
    • *Standard layout on SDL units with OGEE (#24) detail:  1-13/16” stiles and top rail on face (2-5/16″ overall), 2-15/16” bottom rail on face (3-7/16″ overall)
  • **IMPORTANT** Window units ordered in paint or STAIN grade Douglas Fir with SDL grids – SDL exterior grids will come as primed Accoya as our default
    • Note: VG Douglas Fir STAIN grade grids are available upon request, but are subject to “No Warranty”!
Glass
  • 3/4″ insulated Solarban® 70 with Argon gas standard – other glass options available
Screens
  • Wood Screen with UltraVue® screen mesh available as an upgrade
    • Bronze wire mesh available (90% Copper/10% Zinc)
    • Charcoal wire mesh available
Weatherproofing
  • Completely weatherstripped with bulb weatherseal to form a double weatherstripped system for added performance
    • Available in black, white or brown
Additional Info/Options
  • Half Rounds, Eyebrows, Segments, Ellipses and Gothic arches available
    • Full Circle and Oval Windows (Fixed or Operable Pivot) also available
  • Drop (measurement from top of sash or frame to spring line) must be specified
  • Solid VG Fir (paint or stain grade) standard
  • Custom lite break-ups available (marginal, craftsman, diamond, etc.)
  • **IMPORTANT** Window units ordered in paint or STAIN grade Douglas Fir with SDL grids – SDL exterior grids will come as primed Accoya as our default
