Casement & Awning Hardware

Crank Out Hardware

We use Truth EntryGard® hardware on our Crank Out Casements and Awnings. Opening windows with the EntryGard system is smooth and easy. These operators offer removable covers as standard for easy painting/finishing. Dual Arm Operators are used on casements that are 14″ wide or larger. The patented dual arm action pushes the sash open while pulling the hinge side of the sash to the open position producing almost effortless operation. Typical operating torque is less than one foot-pound to open and close a 60 lb. sash 90 degrees.

We use residential grade 3.5 x 3.5 Steel Plain Bearing 5/8″ Radius Corner Mortise Non-Removable Pin Hinges, 0.087 gauge (RC1842-NRP), which allow the sash to open up as much as 180 degrees.

    • Solid Brass Hinges are available as an optional upgrade.
    • Square Corner Hinges are available as an optional upgrade.

Double Hung, Tilt-Pac & Slider Hardware

Cam Lock

As a standard, we use Truth EntryGard® Cam Locks which feature a protective back plate and an internal cam which produces a .125″ pull-in with a .156″ lifting ability. When locked, meeting rails are pulled tightly together, decreasing air infiltration. EntryGard’s snap-back lock draws the cam in when handle motion is within 30 degrees of the open position. The spring action eliminates cam exposure when partially open. Made from high-pressure, corrosion-resistant, die-cast zinc. Available with or without alignment lugs. Made with the same exceptional engineering platform as EntryGard Operators.

Sash Lift/Pull

Designed to complement Truth’s Check Rail Locks, Truth Sash Lifts provide easy opening and closing of double-hung or sliding windows. With a traditional finger-pull look, Sash Lifts encourage window lifting from the bottom, putting less stress on the sash.

*Sash Lifts/Pulls are shipped loose and installed by others.

Our Hydraulic Gas Spring Lift System allows sash to open to 92° (Cobb Custom standard) and locks into place. Safety feature locks sash into place when in the open position, and must be pushed to release the lock before sash can be closed.
