Our solid wood Hydraulic Servery Awning Window is the perfect solution to open up your kitchen, connecting it to your backyard or other outdoor areas and allowing for unobstructed views, open air space and maximizing space for indoor/outdoor entertainment. Our innovative, simple-to-install servery awning window can be ordered without a bottom jamb or sill allowing allowing the sash to close directly on your counter top, giving you a continuous counter top all the way through to the exterior, creating an indoor/outdoor bar! An entertainer’s delight!

Standard Features:

  • 4-½” solid Douglas Fir jamb standard and minimum – wider jamb sizes available
  • Available with sill, full-bound jamb, or no bottom jamb allowing sash to close flush on counter top
  • Exterior trim available by request
  • 1-3/4” sash, solid VG Douglas Fir – additional sash thicknesses available
  • Standard minimum layout: 3-1/8” stiles, top and bottom rails on face (3-5/8” overall)
    • Custom layouts available
  • **IMPORTANT** Window units ordered in paint or STAIN grade Douglas Fir with SDL grids – SDL exterior grids will come as primed Accoya as our default
    • Note: VG Douglas Fir STAIN grade grids are available upon request, but are subject to “No Warranty”!
  • 3/4″ tempered insulated Solarban® 70 with Argon gas standard
  • Tempered or laminated safety glass required
Our Hydraulic Gas Spring Lift System allows sash to open to 92° (Cobb Custom standard) and locks into place. Safety feature locks sash into place when in the open position, and must be pushed to release the lock before sash can be closed.

  • Does not come standard with a screen due to push out operation
  • Double weatherstripped with bulb weatherstripping
    • Available in black, white or brown
Additional Info/Options

*Please note:  Sash is soft opening only, not soft close.  Exterior handle must be used when closing sash.  DO NOT place fingers under sash.

Above is an example of a Servery Awning where the interior counter top extends past the window to the exterior creating an outdoor bar top.  The sash closes directly onto the counter top.
